Harald Klingemann, Bern University of Applied Sciences

Harald Klingemann (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0957-7220) studied at Cologne University (Germany), where he earned the degree of Doctor of Economics and Social Science. He received an honorary doctorate from Stockholm University in 2003 for his work on addiction treatment systems and self-change. At present, he is an associate researcher at Bern University of the Arts, Institute of Design Research and changed his research interest focusing on communication design and the evaluation of cemetery wayfinding systems as well alternative cemetery land use. Recent publications include “Cemeteries in transformation – A Swiss community conflict study. Urban Forestry & Urban Greening 2022)”.
