Dr. C. Keith Harrison is Professor for the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program. He also is the founding director (2006-14) of The Minor that’s Major™ Sport Business Management Undergraduate Program. In addition to his role as Faculty and Innovative Curriculum Coordinator of the DeVos Sport Business Management Programs, Dr. Harrison also has served as the Associate Chair for Faculty, Research & Academic Affairs of the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program and was the Interim and Acting DeVos Chair in Fall 2014. In 2020, he served as a Nasir Jones Hiphop Fellow at the Hutchins Center at Harvard.

Dr. Whitney Griffin, Cerritos College
Dr. Whitney Griffin is a learning scientist from Los Angeles, California. She is an educator at heart and has enjoyed using her PhD in educational psychology from the University of Washington in a wide variety of settings, from community colleges to global education companies. Her passion for teaching has led her to serve as a yoga therapist, a psychology professor, an associate editor, and a published researcher on race and ethnicity in sport. Her mission is to make education design and learner experiences more accessible and inclusive for learners of all abilities.

Dr. Jeff Porter is a New Jersey native and currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the KC Current. To date, Dr. Porter has helped close over $75M in corporate partnerships for the club as it opened the first stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s team. Prior to starting this position, he was the Assistant Vice President for Development and Associate Athletics Director at Miami Athletics (OH).

Dr. S. Malia Lawrence, Benedict College
Dr. Suzanne Malia Lawrence is a Professor in the Health & Sport Management Department at Benedict College and serves as an part time instructor for the Kinesiology Department at California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Lawrence reached Full Professor rank at Azusa Pacific University in 2010. Dr. Lawrence’s research interest includes female football fans’ preferences, stereotypes surrounding athleticism, career transition of college athletes, football players’ experiences of concussions, leadership in collegiate athletics, and Whiteness in sport. Dr. Lawrence specializes in qualitative data analysis. In the last 10 years, she was awarded seven different research rewards including the Dean’s Accomplished Scholar Award twice.

Dr. Marcis Fennell, University of Louisville
Dr. Marcis Fennell is currently a clinical assistant professor and director of the C.A.R.D.S. Leadership Lab at the University of Louisville. Dr. Fennell possesses an extensive formal and informal expertise in the field of sport of all levels. Driven by his athletic experience, Dr. Fennell's educational background formally explores all aspects of sport; Creating a foundation in sport science (B.S.) and movement sciences (M.S.), concluding with a theoretical foundation in sport pedagogy and character education (Ph. D.). Dr. Fennell's expertise in moral development and reasoning in sport enables coaches and athletes to reflect upon themselves actively and efficiently across all roles, influencing efficacy, esteem, and identity formation.

Dr. Molly Harry, University of Arkansas
Molly Harry is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management at the University of Florida. Her research examines the relationship between the NCAA, institutions, and athletics departments and how these entities influence the educational and developmental experiences of college athletes. Dr. Harry is particularly interested in athletes' rights (i.e., NIL and employee status), Title IX, and promoting education through athletic participation.

Dr. Eddie Comeaux, University of California, Riverside
Dr. Eddie Comeaux teaches courses at the University of California Riverside on college student development theories, intercollegiate athletics, foundations of research, and diversity issues in higher education. He is the Director of the Education Minor in Athletic Leadership. He is also the co-founder and former Chair of the Special Interest Group, Research Focus on Education and Sport for the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Prior to earning his Ph.D. at UCLA, he was drafted out of the University of California, Berkeley, in the amateur free draft by the Texas Rangers baseball organization– and spent four years playing professionally.
